Lung Institute of WA becomes the Institute for Respiratory Health

In April 2015, the  Lung Institute of Western Australia became the Institute for Respiratory Health.
L I F E is still associated with the Institute.

LISA becomes LIFE

In August 2009 LISA launched its new name, LIFE, Lung Information and Friendship for Everyone, and became the community support group of the Lung Institute of Western Australia.

Lung Information & Friendship for Everyone, LIFE, is a self-help / patient support group based in Perth, Western Australia.
LIFE was started (as LISA) in 1992 by a group of Western Australians with various chronic lung diseases, who wanted to support each other and find out more about their lung conditions.
LIFE is still run by, and for, people with chronic lung conditions, their carers, families & supporters.
It’s a friendly group of people – laughing, caring and sharing.
You don’t have to be a patient at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital to join
